ESCAPE on the road

The ESCAPE project was presented by its coordinator Dr Peter Bauer (ECMWF) at the 4th ENES workshop on High Performance Computing, in Toulouse between the 6th and 7th of April 2016. The workshop focused on three topics:

The European HPC ecosystem;

        • Innovative developments (new dynamical cores, I/Os…) and today high-resolution models;
        • New paradigms (languages, standards, next-generation models …)
        • and offered an opportunity for exchange of ideas and visions.

ESCAPE was also presented at the High Performance Computing & Big Data 2016 Conference as well as at the SOS20.

Upcoming conferences where ESCAPE will be present include the EXDCI workshop at the HPC Summit Week in Prague on 9th & 10th of May, the CRAY User Group Conference (7th to 13th of May), the ISC High Performance (21st of June), and the workshop “Form Follows Function” at the ISC (23rd of June).
